One of the best ways to help promote yourself and your knowledge is to establish yourself as an expert. If you can do it successfully, then you can have people seek you out to learn more about what you know. The pinnacle of which occurs when the mainstream media begins to come to you for information. The problem is that countless other people are also trying to set themselves up as experts too.

The key to a successful relationship between writer and client is not just money. As a client you should be clear and specific in what you need. Set specific time-frames and not change requirements every few days. Creative writers resent too much interference so, you should know when to back off.

The shopper (or in this case, the fish) will then come running, they will tell all their friends and they will bite your book hook willingly.
